Lancome Paris Best of Colour Focus 8 Eye-shadow Palette Review!!!

Hi Guys! Im back!

Sorry for that short break, but school has been SUPER stressful lately (Separate blog post on it HERE) what with Orals, Detentions and teachers. But anyways, today Im doing a Lancome Best of Colour Focus Palette! I originally got this at Duty free so I got it for £17.00 and the usual price is around £24.00 - £26.00 so I think I saved a lot.

Colours     

I quite like the colours of this palette but there are a few, like the green, blue and purple one that I wont be using to go out, maybe for just messing around with make-up. 

However, I LOVE the cream, the gold, the black (for eyeliner) and the brown. Sometimes I do a combination of the gold, cream and the brown which is SUPER easy to do and looks put-together.

Staying Power

I usually put concealer on my eyelids anyway because I have really veiny eyelids. Ew! I know ha-ha! And concealer can also be used as a eyelid-primer so it stays on pretty good. When I use the black for eyeliner you usually have to re-touch half way through the day but the light colours really stay on and I can still notice it by the end of the night.

Overall

Overall, I really like this palette and I use it lots and lots, I have hit pan on two colours, the black and the cream, BUT. I dont think I will be repurchasing because of the price, and I had saved up for this pallette but Im sure I could very easily find doupes for the colours.

School Makeup Products

Hope you all had a good weekend!

Today Im doing a post on my everyday school makeup products!

We are actually not allowed to wear stuff like eyeliner, eyeshadow etc at my school so I wear quite minimal makeup. Occasionally I wear a white eyeshadow to make my eyes look more awake, but very occasional. I probably will be doing a "Weekend makeup products" post too.

FACE


The first picture is like the "Prep part" I use the Simple's kind to skin hydrating light moisturiser, which is really good but to be honest, its not very moisterising, but anyhows, I use it becuase its cheap. Haha.
I also use the Vasaline cocoa butter lip balm because dry flaky lips are not attractive, lets be honest.
Then the second picture is the "coverage" part of my routine, I use the Maxfactor Miracle touch foundation as a concealer because stupid me, I got a colour too light, so if I used it all over my face I'd look like I had a really bad cold which is'nt really the look I'm trying to achieve here, lol. Then I go over it and either use my Lamcome Touche Eclat concealer, or my natural collection one. THEN after THAT I put a reeeallllyyy small pea-sized amount of my BB cream. 
On to the third picture, These are the brushes I use daily, The first one is an eyebrow brush because you dont really want messed-up eyebrows, but if you dont have a brush take a lipbalm or vasaline and use it to keep your eyebrows in place. Then I use an ELF foundation brush for my foundation concealer and then I use my pink primark brush to rub it all in, its really handy becuase there is a concealer side and a foundation side. After that I get a powder (which I forgot to include, but I use a Natural collection) and put it over my t-zone. The bigger the brush, the more natural the look. 

On my lips I dont do much except for using a luuurvly nude pink colour which is Maybelline 132 Sweet pink, and over the top I use a bath and body works lipgloss in the flavour Strawberry Parfait which is Y.U.M.M.Y!

Hello lovely bloggers!!

Im going to be reviewing the Garnier BB Cream! I use this almost every day and I thought I would share my thoughts on it with you!

Coverage


The coverage of this isn't the best but it's not meant to give you a "pristine-amazingly-clear face" because after all, it is a BB cream! Garnier says it "smooths fine lines" and even though I am 13 years old, I have seriously bad smile lines so when I put on foundation it usually sinks into the lines rather than blending them, but with this product, that is not the case, it gives a "natural airbrush" look and defiantly hides those pesky lines. I think the best thing about this product is that you can build up coverage, so, for school I use about a pea size amount all over my face, but if I'm going out for the night then I use about a 20p size amount and build it up.
Score for coverage: 7/10


Application


I use a brush to apply this, but I used to use my hands, but when I did, I found that it was giving me a "tangerine mark" aka. Foundation Marks, so then I started using an ELF brush and I found it worked perfectly! So I would defiantly recommend using a brush. Its pretty easy to apply and this product was one of my first make-up products, when I was about eleven, nearly twelve, so its great for begginers!
Score for application: 6/10

What Garnier claims the BB cream does


It gives you SPF 15 protection from the sun, aswell as giving UV protection.
As I mentioned above, it also smooths out fine lines, gives you an even tone and a natural glow AND 24 hour hydration!
What more could you want?!

Price


Ok, so this is the only bad thing about this product, the price.
I got mind from boots, for £9.99 which I thought was RIDONKULOUS! 9 pounds?! Seriously? I personally think that it should be maximum £7.50! Its only 50ml in a medium as well!


Will I be repurchasing?


Hmm... because of the price, I'll probably ask for a large one for my birthday or Christmas. So its sort of a 
50/50 kind of thing!

Primark Haul!

Hello Lovely Bloggers!

I recently went up town and did some wreckage down in good old Primarni! 
I got quite a few bits and thought I'd show you as Primark doesn't have a website which is a bit annoying!!
I also needed some Summer/Spring stuff as all my clothes are winter/autumn-ish! So lets gooo!

I've been wanting a Play-Suit for AAGES but most of them are either waay to small or massive, which is never good! I was also looking to get a Peter-Pan collar shirt so when I saw this I was super happy! It's really cute because it has an outline of rabbits! Not in like a baby-ish way but in a really cute adulty way! Haha that made no sense what-so-ever!



When I first walked into the store this was one of the first things I saw! I LOVE sun-glasses and these were AMAZING because they are one pound! *mind blown*
Another great thing about these sunglasses is that they are my two favourite colours! Neon Pink+ Baby Blue! I dont know why it isn't coming up neon on picture but its very neon in person so get yourself down to Primark and get yourself these glasses!


 I have REALLY been needing  a new pencil case and I thought this would be good as I love Pink and Cheetah Print! This is actually a make-up bag but, Oh wells nobody will notice will they?? Apart from you guys reading this! Haha its our little secret ;)
Its a really perfect size and fits in my bag nicely! That takes us nicely onto the next item I bought which is...


This lovely fake (or should I say, faux) leather bag! I was in despearo need of a new bag because all my other ones are FILTHY! This one is GREAT because the material seems really hard-wearing! The only bad thing was the Price! You guys are probably going to think I'm a cheapskate but it was £9.00! The last time I went to Primark (ages ago) I bough a bag, bigger than this one for £7.00!! What a rip off! It is really quite small as well! Rant over. Haha! But overall I really like this bag and I dont think its going to get dirty easily like my other ones. Because seriously, who likes a dirty bag?!


Next is this lovely navy-blue/white Peter-Pan shirt! I really like this top and I cant wait to wear it! There were some other nice peter pan tops, but I didn't want to spend all my money on them all at once but when I enough I will defiantly be going back! There was also a really sweet neon-pink spotty one as well but there were none in my size!

I was browsing through the Jewellery section and as you may or may not know, I LOVE bows! I have a rather large collection now Ha-ha! So when I saw this, it was the last one, I GRABBED it as quick as I could as the lady next to me was also eyeing it! But MWAH-HA-HA I gottit! She must of been really annoyed! Oops. This was £2.50.

More bows! These are cute little hair clips! The ones on the left are actually hair grasps, Really good for only £2.00!
The ones on the right are a lovely coral colour and these are small hair-clips!

Next I got some Makeup tools! I recently got a elf foundation brush but I washed it too much (I'm a germ freak) and the glue came off it :( Sad times, I know. ANYWAYS, I got the concealer/foundation brush and I actually didnt realise that the concealer on the end so that was a plus! Also, its PINK! Double plus eh!?
 Then I got an eyelash curler because my one was really old and starting to break so for one pound I went ahead and bought it.
My old one was also really chunky and it was a gross greeny colour, and this one is pink :D


AND THAT, my friends is the end of my haul!!! Hope you guys liked it!

How I spent Fathers Day!

Hope you all had a great Sunday (Fathers Day! At school, loads of people had been talking about "Carters Steam Fair" coming to town, its a fair and its SUPER fun, me and my dad LOVE it! So we went up town and had lunch at Del'aziz, I had pancakes as it was like brunch and I hadn't had breakfast yet so yeah! I have to say though, they didnt really taste like pancakes, they were kinda chunky and tasted a bit like bread... But anyways, after that, we went in the car to Carters Steam fair, The first ride we went on was one that goes super high in the air and spins you around, that was really really fun! Then, my Dad saw the Victory Dive Bombers....He really really wanted to go on it, and I decided to go 

because after all, it was Fathers Day. OMG. I swear to you, I    honestly thought I was going to die.  I've put in a video for you to see what happens.You get on and they lock you in, and at the top there is like a really big hole so you can see out, and because I'm quite short, I could easily fit through (see video) and because when you go up, it feels like you are going to rocket up, all the way to space but then all of a sudden, you drop down and this is the bit when I started freaking out. You are literally looking right down on people's heads and I was literally clinging on to the bar as hard as I could, I was pushing my feet right against the end of the cage (it was kinda like a  cage container thing) trying my 

very hardest NOT to fall out, It was actually kinda funny cos I was like to my dad 
"DAD DAD I'M GONNA FUCKING FALL OUT OF THIS THING!! IM GONNA FUCKING DIE" My Dad was laughing his head off haha!It was so scary and when we got out of it, I was litterally SO happy but I felt like I was gonna throw up! LOL. Hahaha anyway, thats just my experience but to tell the truth, I was being a bit of a wimp haha!

How to stay Organized!

                                                                           HelloLovelieeees!!!

If youare reading this and you go to school with me, then you will know that I reallyam SO UN-organized! Iam always forgetting homework, bringing the wrong school books in, gettingmuddled up with days, and the list goes on!

Here area few tips and tricks that I use to TRY and help me stay organised!

-      -    Ifyou have a mirror, get a whiteboard pen and you can write on it just like  whiteboard! So when you get ready in themorning you’ll be able to see it and be reminded about what you have to remember!

-         Writeit on your hand! I know, I know, it seems simple but its SO effective! It defiantlyhelps me remember.

-         Buya dry-erase calendar! Mine, (pictured) is from PB teen.

-          

         Sometimes,I get my friends to remind Me about stuff I have to do, for example, I have tofind out some meanings for some words.

-          

         Usepost-it-notes! When I get to school, the first thing I do is, go to my lockerto put away, my lunchbox, my school blazer and other stuff, so sometimes I puta sticky note on the inside of my locker so it’s the first thing I see.

Exercise Routine!

Hiya Guys!

So. I was doing my daily Exercise Routine while watching Sprinkle of Glitter (Love her and her videos!) and I realised I didnt upload a blog post!! *Dramatic Gasp!* So I thought I would share with you luuurvly people what I do before I go to bed to exercise my GUT and my LEGS! I have to admit. Im a little bit of a Exercise/health FREAK! Dont Judge ok! Haha! Anyway, lets get started.

LEGS-

I try to only focus on my thighs but here are the exercises I do!

SCISSORS – I lay down on my side and I move my legs up and down until it starts really burning, but I try to do about 20 to 25.

BICYCLE LEGS – Oh.Em.Gee. I love this exercise! Lay down on your back and basically, to put it bluntly, move your legs like you’re riding a bicycle down a lovely sunny country side lane…… Stop day-dreaming Amelia!!! Haha!

STOMACH

SIT-UPS- Ok. Im going to warn you, this is PAINFULL! It burns like heck and if you don’t exercise regularly then it will hurt in the morning. ANYWHO, lay down on your back and move your upper body up and down, just like you are about to get up from your chair.

SIT-STILLS – Act like you are about to do a sit up, and then just freeze and see how long you can hold it! This also hurts but not as much as Sit-ups!

Now… GET EXERCISING! Joking! Have fun and remember don’t hurt yourself! *Does angry mother face*

Back in time....

Hi!

This post was origianlly for Throwback Thursday, but silly me, I FORGOT! Haha oops!


Anyway, enjoy!

These pictures are from when I was 4 years old, I remember my mum and dad picking me up early from school, it was a Friday, and It was in march, a couple days before my birthday, we went to celebrate my 5^th birthday, my little sister was being looked after by my nan, we went to Disney land for around 3 days! We went to the one in paris, I can remember being SO exited to see Pluto and Princess Belle and Sleeping Beauty  Haha! Belle was my favourite, Hence why Im wearing the dress Belle wears in the movie!

I cant remember exactly what we did, but I asked my Mum and Dad what they could rememember and they said that on the first day, we arrived at the resort and checked into the hotel, then we went out to see who we could find , we went to a shop to buy an autograph book, which I still have haha! I was looking at it today in fact! After that, we went back to the hotel and I went to bed.

On the second day,  It was my birthday!  My mum and dad planned to take me to a reustraunt  where Donald and Chip were! I have a few photos some where I think, after that we went on a few rides, bought the Belle Dress ,met a couple of the characters, and then the next day it was time to go home again.

Whats in my school make-up bag??

Heya guys!


So today I was a bit stuck on what to blog about, if you haven't
 already noticed, I'm trying to blog everyday!
I  was going through my school bag and I decided to do a "Whats in my school make-up bag??" 


I dont have much because I dont really think I need much but I really want to get a powder, concealer and new make-up brush for my bag because when I get home all my concealer has come off which is really annoying as I have REAAALLY bad dark circles.


Any ways, lets gooo!




The actual bag that contains all the stuff is PERFECT for my bag because its small but it can still keep a lot of stuff in it! I also thought it was cute because it has dogs on it :)


I keep hand-sanitiser because my school is D.I.R.T.Y! It really is disgusting! So, that's a must have! Next I keep a Nivea Pearl&Shine because its like a lip-balm but its also got a really pretty shine to it.
I also keep tissues because they are really handy because I'm always spilling stuff over myself.
And I also have a mirror because its good for if you need to re-do your hair.


Next I have a small little comb for re-doing my hair.
I have a lip-butter, a lip gloss and a pearly pink lip-gloss.
I have a mascara just in case i have no time in the morning to do my make-up.
And finally, I have my travalo that has My Gilly Hicks Sweet Nectar Perfume which is LOVELY!

So following on from my last blog post, this is how you can create a “cosy, sit down area” in your room, this works for small to massive rooms , my room is really really small, but this area works out for me, you just have to find the right place!

You will need:

    ·      A beanbag

    ·         Pillows

    ·         Decorations e.g Fairy Lights

What to do:

1. Get a beanbag and put it down wherever you want it to be in your room!

2. Get your pillow/pillows  and dot them around the beanbag, as you can see, I've only used one and also a small one because my beanbag is pretty small!

3. I have got a table, which is plastic, so its clear, and on top of it I have my "Blogging notebook" and I just put down blog posts  I want to do.  I just thought it was super cute because its HELLO KITTY! I love Hello kitty as you know!

Underneath, I have a bunch of of notebooks and magazines and yes, that is Argos catalogue at the top!

4.  You can add fairy lights if you want to! 

My lights are from Sainsburys, but I got them agaes ago so I dont know if they will be availiable any more, but Im sure that you could find some on ebay or amazon.

I was taking off my makeup and I thought maybe I could do a blog post on my night routine!

                                                                 Here it is:

♥ First of all, I take my Nivea Daily Essentials refreshing cleansing lotion and I put about a 50p size amount in my hands, I put it all round my mucky face!

♥ Then I take a flannel and wipe it off.

♥ After that, I get my No7 Cleanse&Care Eye makeup Remover, and take off my mascara and eyeshadow! After that, because it is a bit greasy, I go back to the bathroom and wipe my face again!

♥ Every two days I use an exfoliator, I use the Ocean Salt by Lush. You can read my review about it here!

A few weeks ago, me and my mum went up to town and we were on the Kings Road and we decided to pop into lush as my Mum needed to get a gift for one of her friends and I wanted to see if I could get a new face scrub, as I have seriously dry skin, a good face scrub is really important. Another reason why I LOVE lush is that the shop assistants are SO friendly!!! I was browsing the shelfs and I found a scrub called “Ocean salt!” I have been using it for about a week now and I LOVE it!

Here are my thoughts on it:

It says that the mix will remove all dead skin from your faced (BLERGHH) and leave you with a bright and clean complexion. You can also use it on your body.

Texture:

♥ This scrub is SUPER abrasive so I don’t recommend if you have oily or sensitive skin.

♥ It feels like it has super small pieces of salt in it, and then really chunky pieces which is great!

♥ It also has avocado in it so it’s really moisturising.

Smell:

♥ OMG. Let me just say, this scrub has the most AMAZING smell, it smells like if you went on holiday to the seaside and you were on the beach. It smells really natural and you can tell that its great for even the most allergy-prone skin. I think it also has a hint of lime...

Hit or a Miss :

I think that this scrub is definatly a HIT it has left my skin super soft and really clean, I use it 2 times every week as it is quite abrasive! Get it if you’re like me and have really skin and your problems will be SOLVED!

My Mum put her name in the council ballot to see if she could get free tickets to the polo, and we did! So me, my little sister, my dad and my mum all went this Saturday! I took a few snaps of the day on my phone, so here they are!
